Training & Certification

All new members must complete MoD/NRA-approved training before shooting on military ranges.

Training covers:

• Safe firearm handling
• Range procedures
• MoD regulations
• Marksmanship fundamentals

Upon completion, members are issued a Shooter Certification Card, which must be carried when using MoD ranges.

Costs

The costs cover ammunition, NRA Training Manual, use of club firearms and the instructors time, we will confirm costs with you when you are given a slot to attend then we will know which firearms, ammunition and how much time will be required for your training.

Following training, members enter a six-month probationary period before becoming full members.
