Club Membership
Membership Fee
Annual membership is £175.
Membership runs from January to December.
If joining part-way through the year, the first year is charged at the full annual rate. Renewal in the following year will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis.
We welcome responsible shooters committed to safe and disciplined target shooting.
Probation & Prior Experience
New members are required to complete a six-month probationary period.
This requirement will normally be waived for applicants who are:
- Current full members of another Home Office approved club, or
- Holders of a valid personal Firearm Certificate (FAC).
Applicants who do not hold a current Shooter Safety Card must complete the required MoD/NRA-approved training before being permitted to shoot on military ranges.
Upon successful completion of the probationary period, full membership is granted and the club will provide written support for applications for a Firearm Certificate.
Eligibility
- Minimum age: 14
- Under 18s must join with a parent (MoD requirement)
- Members of other Home Office approved clubs may have probation waived
- Current FAC holders may have probation waived
Legal Requirement
The club is required to notify the local Firearms Licensing Unit of all membership applications.
